ELVES VISIT FOR GIVING TUESDAY!!

Giving Tuesday is a global movement to inspire giving around the world. Thank you to those that participated in our Giving Tuesday fundraiser & for helping us change lives right here in your own backyard. Feed the need sends food home with over 800 Putnam County students every single week. That's 29,000 bags of food!! That's over $288,000 worth of food for the entire year!! With your continued help, we aim to send home as much food as possible. With the price of food & goods skyrocketing across the United States now it is more important than ever to have the ability to provide food to children in need. We truly appreciate this commUNITY & the tremendous amount of love & support we continue to receive. Thank you to everyone who donated, shared or liked our Facebook posts and those who donated individually.

SOUTH STATE BANK GIVES BACK!!

For Giving Tuesday this year, South State Bank joined in the global day of giving with a donation to Feed the Need. We are so incredibly grateful to have South State Bank as part of the Feed the Need Family. With the increase in price of goods, astronomical fuel prices, quantity limits on bulk food purchases, food shortages & inevitable hyper inflation Feed the Need is dependent now more than ever on monetary & tangible donations to get us through. We are so incredibly grateful for businesses like South State Bank that give back to their commUNITY!!

BUY A TREE CHANGE A LIFE!!

Open Door Church of God held a fundraiser to benefit nonprofits. At Buy A Tree Change A Life, if you had bought a Christmas tree, Feed the Need was the local nonprofit chosen to donate to. What a spectacular way to spread the spirit of giving & Christmas cheer this season. We truly appreciate Pastor Steve Burkowske for including Feed the Need in this fundraiser. We truly couldn't do this without this amazing commUNITY!!

BOARD MEMBER SPOTLIGHT!!

Feed The Need of Putnam County proudly introduces our board member Rebecca "Becci" Motes. There are not enough words to say how many hours Becci puts into feeding children in Putnam County each week. Becci is the Secretary on the Board for Feed the Need. Becci has a passion for helping children to grow and blossom into hardworking young adults, which is why she is the perfect person to be in charge of our teen ambassador program. She is always finding creative ways for students to spread awareness. Becci radiates positivity in all that she does & that attitude reflects in her classroom & students. We are so incredibly grateful to have Becci as part of the FTN family. Thank you Becci for all you do, you are greatly appreciated.
