We thank you for your love and support. Keita is enjoying meeting his uncles, aunts, cousins, and family in Christ this season. Thank you for your encouraging words, wise advice and prayer for us. Keita was born on October 24, 2024. Soon after his birth, his mother was quickly taken to the recovery room. That meant, for the first five hours of his life, it was me and him. As I was in the neonatal care unit staring at my newborn son, I knew my life would be forever changed and I was going through a transformation. My friends told me, "That day not only was a child born but a new dad was born as well." I could see my thinking, priorities, and heart was changing. Indeed receiving this child transformed Satomi and my life forever. I realized that from here on, I will always be a dad and she will always be a mom.
When God's Son came into our lives, He transformed each one of us forever. As Paul says, we became a "new creation!" (2 Cor. 5:17). Jesus said, "We are born again!" A new person was born, a child of God. From that day, we were part of God's kingdom family forever. Our thinking, priorities, heart, every part of our being was transformed. I hope this Christmas you will have time to remember and reflect on the time you became a new creation in Christ. I also hope you will see friends and family experience the transforming power of Christ.
