Merry Christmas from our CREW to Yours!

Hi!

2019 was a very BIG Year for us as a Family and the World Mission Centre, and we couldn't have done it without the Lord's grace, leading and immense support of love, encouragement and prayers from our family, friends and supporters.

We'd like to share some Highlights as we Reflect back on 2019.

Personal Reflections

In August we visited our Family in South Africa. Our kids, Matthew(16) and Cayleigh (13) got baptized with both sets of grandparents present! What a joy and privilege!

Matthew joined the CORE TEAM (missions trip this summer) in South Africa and went through a portion of Live School. Wow, what a difference we have seen in his life and walk with Jesus.

Both of our kids are doing well at school and personally, with a few changes....Matthew just got braces and Cayleigh has to get reading glasses.

Last December, Shirley resigned from teaching dance at SC Christian Dance Theater to join William in managing the WMC USA office full-time in Columbia, SC. She still teaches a dance class of college girls once a week where they focus on dance worship and perform at local church and community events. Shirley and the Realm Dancers will be going to India in March of 2020 to dance and serve at the Running With Horses Conference with World Mission Centre (WMC).

We currently run two home groups in our home twice a month. A Family Group and a High School Ministry. It has been such a joy for us to host people in our home, build fellowship and disciple others. Although it might look different in the future, we look forward to continuing to host these groups and being obedient to the Lord.

Ministry Reflections

We Celebrated the 30th Anniversary of WMC!

The Running with Horses Conference was hosted in South Africa this past July 2019. Over 450 key church and missions leaders from 38 countries gathered in Pretoria, for the first Running With Horses event.

The Transition of the WMC Leadership. WMC now has an International Leadership Team and that team is now being led by us, William & Shirley. We Humbly take up the task of Leading the World Mission Centre into 2020. We Honor Willie and Lydia Crew for the sacrifices and victories they have brought the WMC through in the last 30 Years .

Live School is now in 95 countries with over 2,300 church partnerships and training 22,000 students.

We have started the translation of Live School into Mongolian. We plan to launch this version of the Live School in September 2020.

Our annual 'Indaba' was held in October in Columbia, SC. God brought many new faces to the event and it was a blessed and successful evening. Thank you to all of you that came out to celebrate our 30th anniversary with us!

Looking Ahead

Running with Horses (RWH) 2020. (INDIA // SIBERIA [RUSSIA] // KENYA). We are excited to announce 3 conferences this coming year! (India – March, Siberia – October, Kenya – November)

Telling The Story. There are so many exciting stories that need to be told and we plan to take two story trips this year. The first will be to West Africa where we will be witness to the launching of the Live School in Hausa. The second will be to Siberia during which time we will also take part in the Siberian regional RWH conference.

Ongoing translations and development. We will be completing and launching the Hausa translation in August and the Mongolian translation in October. We also plan to start the Mandarin translation this year.

Join us in the field. The USA office will be visiting India, West Africa and Siberia this year and we would love to have you join us on these trips! There is limited space on these trips so contact us soon for more information!

Live School Rollout. Our International Leadership team plan to train and start an additional 1,200 Live Schools during 2020.

Prayer Requests

Personal Finances and provision for our family. We have raised 60% of our monthly income. Praise Jesus! It is only through Christ and His strength that this has happened.

Faithful monthly supporters for the USA office to relieve the burden of fundraising and free us to fulfill the role of WMC leaders.

Protection over our hearts, relationships and marriage. As William and Shirley work closely together, they need to remain unified and in peace (love) with one another and their children.

Shirley's trip to India in March for the Running with Horses Conference. She needs to raise $2,500.

Full-time technical and media staff needed in the USA Office to take William’s place so that he can transition into full-time leadership.

That the Lord will give us joy in this New Season of Transition and Acceleration. It has been a BIG transition period for William and Shirley as they take over responsibilities from Willie and Lydia. We are still growing and learning new things every day. May we come on our knees every morning, absolutely dependent on Him and knowing that even in our weaknesses, He will be made known.
