Did you notice the smiley face on the tree? The artist, Jakobe, a LUM student, created this painting for the annual LUM Christmas card (pictured below), offering a poignant reminder of how children see the humanity in all things.

We are all made imago dei — in the image of God—and each person has inherent dignity and worth. At LUM, we are dedicated to restoring that dignity by serving those who are often pushed to society’s margins.

Reflecting on the year, the work accomplished together stands as a testament to the power of community. Essential services were provided, and neighbors in need were uplifted, all thanks to your support. Looking ahead to 2025, the need for these services continues to grow, and the commitment to serving with compassion and care remains strong.
