And she shall bring forth a son, and thou shalt call his name Jesus: for he shall save his people from their sins."
-- Matthew 1:21
In this season of Advent, we prepare for the coming of the Lord and reflect upon all of the blessings in our lives, including our family, friends, and you, our esteemed alumni. Thank you for your support throughout the year in so many ways, from volunteering at our events and providing monetary gifts, to keeping CUW and the entire Concordia family in your prayers.

As many of you know, we have a beautiful campus, and it is especially lovely at Christmastime. You can find the magnificent Christmas tree pictured above in our new Robert W. Plaster Free Enterprise building. L ocated on the first floor, it stretches up to the second floor in our front study area. Please stop by for a visit to enjoy all of our festive decorations and joyous holiday spirit.

From all of us at Concordia, may you and your family have a wonderful Christmas filled with the light, beauty, and love of our Lord Jesus.

An Uncommon Advent: Written by members of the Concordia family
For this season of Advent, our two Concordia campuses came together and produced an Advent devotional to help prepare people for our Lord’s birth. We invite you to read and reflect on these daily devotions written by faculty, staff and students from both campuses. Click here to view it online, and feel free to bookmark it for this Advent season. Please note that you can also purchase a hard copy of these devotions to be shared with friends and family members.
CUW students donate hundreds of blankets to local child centers
On Thursday, November 20 at exactly 3 p.m. a caravan of cars pulled into the empty parking lot of the Lakeshore Regional Child Advocacy Center in Saukville, Wisconsin. Each of the cars was stuffed with cozy, colorful blankets and smiling college students who delivered the tangible fruits of their semester-long labor of love. The students unloaded more than 300 tie blankets, one armload at a time. To read more, click here .
