Holiday Closure

All library locations will be closed on February 19 for Presidents Day

(Collbran, De Beque, Orchard Mesa, and Palisade closed on February 17)

Come find some great deals on gently used paperbacks, hardbacks, DVDs, and more! Every Friday and Saturday from 9 a.m. - 2 p.m., excluding holiday weekends. All sales benefit Mesa County Libraries programs, such as Summer Reading, Comic Con, and Culture Fest. Also, check out the Friends Novel book sale areas at our Central, Clifton, Fruita, and Orchard Mesa branches. Cash and Venmo are accepted.

The Mesa County Libraries Discovery Garden, located at 5th Street and Chipeta Avenue, is looking for a Gardener in Residence for six months, April through September 2024. The selected candidate will receive a $6,000 stipend, provided by the Mesa County Libraries Foundation and Friends of the Mesa County Libraries.

Sensory Storytime


Kids and caregivers, join us for a storytime specially designed for individuals who are neurodiverse and/or have sensory needs. Our structured storytime includes singing, interactive activities, and reading from one of our Youth Services library workers. Lights will be dimmed and sound limited.

ABCmouse Access for Libraries now provides  Library patrons access to the at-home version of ABC Mouse in addition to the free in-library version.

SAVE THE DATE:

Mesa County Libraries’ Teen Self-Care Fair, 12-3 p.m., Saturday, April 27 at the Central Library. This event provides opportunities for teens to explore activities and discover resources to help navigate the stress and challenges of adolescence. This fun, safe, and inclusive environment, introduces teens to community resources, and an opportunity to connect with peers who have similar interests.
