ABCmouse Access for Libraries now provides  Library patrons access to the at-home version of ABC Mouse in addition to the free in-library version Beginning the week of January 22.

Period Education Project

Teens 14-18 of all genders and their caregivers are invited to join us from, 1-2:30 p.m. Saturday, January 27 at the Central Library for an educational workshop about menstrual health, with an opportunity to ask questions from medical experts. Learn:


  • How to recognize if a period is normal or not.
  • Where to get free period products and how to use them.
  • How to talk more openly about periods without embarrassment or shame.

Former D51 School Tiles Now on Permanent Display


Over 500 pieces of hand-crafted history from Grand Junction’s District 51 former Columbine Elementary School’s kindergarten through fifth grade students (1997-98), are now on permanent display at Mesa County Libraries Central Branch in the East Hallway.
