County Order Requires Masks on Business Premises
All businesses in Dallas County must require employees and customers to wear face coverings while on business premises, according to a Supplemental Order issued by Dallas County on June 19.

Dallas County Opens Small Business Emergency Assistance Program

Dallas County is accepting pre-applications for its Emergency Business Assistance Program (EBAP), which is designed to rapidly provide financial assistance to Dallas County small businesses that have been adversely affected by the COVID-19 pandemic. Small businesses may be eligible to obtain a forgivable loan of up to $15,000.

Paycheck Protection Program Applications Due June 30

The deadline for Paycheck Protection Program application is approaching. Applications must be assigned a Small Business Administration (SBA) loan number by June 30.

Texas Restaurant Promise Program Offers Training, Certification
The Texas Restaurant Association and Dallas College have launched a new program designed to train, evaluate, and certify restaurants on protocols established by the State of Texas. Returning customers will be able to look for the Texas Restaurant Promise Certified and Verified decal on doors of Texas neighborhood restaurants, cafes, and bars as an indicator that the businesses have achieved the certification.
