To Our Valued Agents, Customers, and Partners:
I hope this letter finds you safe and healthy. Over the last month or so, much has changed, and we have all worked hard to adapt to our new everyday lives.
I would like to review a few matters regarding how CATIC has navigated these difficult times. First of all, we have implemented remote work-from-home practices, in order to protect the health and safety of our employees. The very few onsite staff members are practicing social distancing and other precautions, as recommended by the CDC and other officials. We have provided them with all of the necessary personal protection equipment (PPE) so that they can do their jobs safely.
Our employees have dedicated themselves to helping our agents, lenders, and other industry partners deal with the ever-changing practices and procedures that have arisen during this health crisis. For example, we have produced and distributed more than 100 publications that address matters such as town hall closures, remote notarization, emergency orders, small business assistance, and many other issues of interest. In order to make all of this information widely available, all of these publications and notices have been posted to our
dedicated COVID-19 webpage. For agents with login access to our website, we also have a
new webpage dedicated to remote notarizations. This webpage features up-to-date resources, state-specific guidance, and helpful educational tools to enable you to continue to serve your clients, even from afar. We hope that this material has helped you conduct your business during these difficult times.
We have also remained busy. Since March 13
th, which was our first day working remotely, we have taken in 6,698 title search orders, processed 1,440 limited search authorizations, and scanned and processed more than 10,000 title policies. All since March 13
th! I thank all of our loyal agents for their dedication and continued support of CATIC. It is greatly appreciated.
Should you need assistance with any of your transactions, we urge you to contact your local CATIC office. All of the contact information for each of our offices is set forth on our dedicated COVID-19 webpage. We look forward to helping you with any problems that you encounter.
In closing, we want to acknowledge the tireless efforts of those who work to protect us, by providing health care, public safety measures, household goods, and other services. They have all met the call and are true heroes.
Stay safe and healthy, and let us know how we can help.
Together, our future is bright!
