My Dearest Parish Family,

God be with us always. A Blessed Holy Week to All!

Thank you for making a point to really connect with each other in many ways most especially in prayer. Fr. Martin & I have been very grateful to God and you for the privilege of celebrating the Eucharist with us. Our Eucharist Celebration has been reaching far and wide based on the email messages we are receiving. I am certain that people pray with us from as far as Spain and the Philippines.
 
Brace yourself because this email will be quite long as this will summarize how we are to approach our “Together at Heart & Spirit though Physically Apart” Celebration of the Holy Week.
 
FIRST: It would really be helpful spiritually if you can designate a Sacred Prayer Space for your family where you can gather to pray together or individually. Make sure that you have meaningful Religious Articles on the Altar that assist you in your prayer like the Crucifix, A Statue or Picture of Divine Mercy and Our Mother Mary among others.
 
SECOND: Establish a “Holy Moment” prayer time so that each family member can be aware to dedicate that time to prayer.
THIRD: In an effort to have representation of our Parish Family during the Easter Triduum – we are inviting those who are interested to donate potted Easter and Calla Lilies which we will be used to decorate the Altar and Sanctuary. Kindly place the name of your family on the flower you offered and place it in front of the Church Doors. We will be accepting these Family Floral Offering until early afternoon – 2:00 pm of Holy Saturday. 
PALM SUNDAY:
 
We have scheduled a designated time for curb side distribution of the Blessed Palms and our Holy Week Worship Aid. Just a few reminders: there will be some traffic assistance so please follow instructions. The place for distribution will be by the Peace Pole Rotunda near the Church. Please stay inside your vehicle and lower your driver side window to receive the Blessed Palm. The Priests – Clergy wearing gloves & mask will only be the only people handing out the Palms to protect you.
 
This way we protect you from handling or touching anything else - compare this to other alternative of just leaving the leaves in a basket on a table and risk multiple contact uncertain if anyone who touches it is positive for the virus. This is also applying the directive to maintain physical distancing. The bonus of this procedure would be the opportunity to meet and greet the clergy who loves you if even from safe distance.
HOLY THURSDAY – Mass of the Lord’s Supper : At a given time we will be encouraging each family to have a symbolic and loving gesture of washing each other’s feet – this is usually done after the Gospel and the Homily. Kindly prepare the materials you might need for this activity. (Suggestion instead of having to use water in a pitcher, basin & towel you can use a moist towel or wipes).
GOOD FRIDAY - Adoration of the Cross: At the appropriate time during the Liturgy each will be encouraged to kiss their family Crucifix or Cross that is enshrined on the Family Altar. Please remain for the First Day of the Novena for the Feast of the Divine Mercy following the Liturgy.

HOLY SATURDAY & EASTER SUNDAY – We have Live Streamed Eucharist scheduled for this two important and significant Liturgical Celebrations that is central to our faith life as Christian Catholics.

Mi Querida Familia Parroquial,

Dios esté con nosotros siempre. ¡Una bendita semana santa para todos!

Gracias por hacer un punto para conectarse realmente entre sí de muchas maneras, especialmente en la oración. El Padre Martin y yo hemos estado muy agradecidos con Dios y con usted por el privilegio de celebrar la Eucaristía con nosotros. Nuestra celebración de la Eucaristía se ha extendido por los mensajes de correo electrónico que estamos recibiendo. Estoy seguro de que la gente reza con nosotros desde España y Filipinas.
 
Prepárese porque este correo electrónico será bastante largo ya que resumirá cómo debemos acercarnos a nuestra celebración de la Semana Santa “Juntos en el corazón y en el espíritu aunque físicamente separados”.
 
PRIMERO: Sería realmente útil espiritualmente si puede designar un espacio de oración sagrada para su familia donde puedan reunirse para orar juntos o individualmente. Asegúrese de tener Artículos Religiosos significativos sobre el Altar que lo ayuden en su oración como el Crucifijo, Una Estatua o Imagen de la Divina Misericordia y Nuestra Madre María, entre otros.
 
SEGUNDO: Establezca un tiempo de oración del "Momento Santo" para que cada miembro de la familia pueda estar consciente de dedicar ese tiempo a la oración.
TERCERO: En un esfuerzo por tener representación de nuestra Familia Parroquial durante el Triduo Pascual, estamos invitando a aquellos que estén interesados ​​a donar Flores de Pascua en macetas que usaremos para decorar el Altar y el Santuario. Por favor, coloque el nombre de su familia en la flor que ofreció y colóquelo frente a las Puertas de la Iglesia. Aceptaremos estas ofrendas florales familiares hasta la tarde - 2:00 pm del Sábado Santo.
DOMINGO DE RAMOS:
 
Hemos programado una hora designada para la distribución de las Palmas Benditas y nuestra Guía de Oración de Semana Santa. Solo algunos recordatorios: habrá asistencia de tráfico, así que siga las instrucciones. El lugar de distribución será junto a la Glorieta, cerca de la Iglesia. Permanezca dentro de su vehículo y baje la venta del lado del conductor para recibir la Palma Bendita. Los Sacerdotes: el clero usará guantes y máscara solo serán las únicas personas que entregarán las Palmas para protegerte.
 
De esta manera, lo protegemos de manipular o tocar cualquier otra cosa: compárelo con otra alternativa de simplemente dejar las hojas en una canasta sobre una mesa y arriesgarse a un contacto múltiple incierto si alguien que lo toca es positivo para el virus. Esto también está aplicando la directiva para mantener el distanciamiento físico. La ventaja de este procedimiento sería la oportunidad de conocer y saludar al clero que lo ama, incluso desde una distancia segura.
JUEVES SANTO - Misa de la Cena del Señor : En un momento dado, alentaremos a cada familia a tener un gesto simbólico y amoroso de lavarse los pies, esto generalmente se hace después del Evangelio y la Homilía. Prepare los materiales que pueda necesitar para esta actividad. (Sugerencia en lugar de tener que usar agua en una jarra, lavabo y toalla, puede usar una toalla o toallitas húmedas).
VIERNES SANTO - Adoración de la Cruz: En el momento apropiado durante la Liturgia, se animará a cada uno a besar a su Crucifijo o Cruz familiar que está consagrado en el Altar Familiar. Por favor, quédese para el Primer Día de la Novena para la Fiesta de la Divina Misericordia después de la Liturgia.

SÁBADO SANTO Y DOMINGO DE PASCUA - Tenemos programada la Eucaristía en vivo transmitida para estas dos importantes y significativas celebraciones litúrgicas que son fundamentales para nuestra vida de fe como católicos cristianos.
