Message from CSG West Chair
Dear fellow westerners,

As we near the end of 2017, I wanted to wish you and your families a wonderful holiday season and to express my sincere thanks for your engagement and support this year. CSG West has achieved a lot in 2017 to bring leaders together, foster collaboration, build stronger legislative institutions, and continue to be a great source for western lawmakers.

Thank you for those of you that were able to join us in Tacoma this past August for the 70th CSG West Annual Meeting. My colleagues in the Washington State Legislature and I were honored to host this year's annual gathering of western policy-makers. We hope you enjoyed your time in the Pacific Northwest and were able to learn about some of the exciting things happening in our great state. Please make plans to attend the 2018 CSG West conference in Snowbird, Utah. Chair-elect Senator Stuart Adams and his Utah colleagues are planning an exciting and informational event.

It's been an honor and pleasure serving as your chair this year. I look forward to continued work with colleagues from across the region and our country to further cooperation to meet our common challenges. As always, please feel free to contact me if I can be of any assistance to you. Stay involved and make CSG West even stronger. Happy Holidays and see you in 2018!
