To Our Membership:

Although your Chamber staff is working from home, we have your best interest at the top of our minds and in our hearts.

We are staying on top of evolving changes regarding the many aspects of the CARES Act, emerging resources and other legislation—all to keep you informed. In fact, this morning we received these updated resources from the U.S. Chamber to share with you:

Your staff is also participating in biweekly calls with the U.S. Chamber and the American Chamber of Commerce Executives Association to learn how to best serve you during this crisis and beyond. We digest information from these and other sources for your easy access in our daily Chamber News eblasts. In case you missed it, our new Chamber website COVID-19 resource page is up and running and can be accessed here

We are also drawing on the expertise of our members as we plan and host virtual meetings and webinars, the first of which was this morning with nearly 70 Chamber members participating. Feedback was great; for example, here's one comment: "Each one of you was detailed, helpful and extremely valuable. You make this Chamber a valued resource to our members." Click here for the recording and here for an informative handout.

Our first Business-to-Business virtual meeting was held this week and worked so well that we now have weekly B-2-B virtual meetings scheduled.

As you know, member restaurants and others in the parish are sharing their takeout and curbside/delivery services on our St. Tammany Eats Facebook Page ; 145 restaurants are featured! Our St. Tammany Chamber Member Facebook Group has 101 of our businesses sharing information. We encourage all our members to use these resources.

Information to get through any crisis is crucial, and we are proud to see the increases in our open rates on our daily updates. This lets us know that the news we are sharing is valuable to you. It inspires us.

We wish you and your family to be healthy. We will get through this—with our members and citizens working together.
