CITY HALL CYBER ATTACK UPDATES

Last week, Mayor LaToya Cantrell updated residents on the progress the City is making in response to the cyber-security incident on Dec. 13.

As of Dec. 23, 50% of the City's computers have been re-imaged, partly due to the assistance of nearly 90 volunteers helping the Information Technology & Innovation (ITI) team in the response effort. About 15 percent of the devices have been deemed damaged and put aside. City email service is expected to return soon.

While nola.gov services remain limited, the homepage has been redesigned to provide links to more City services than were previously available. Residents can make 3-1-1 requests for service; pay sales, use, and parking taxes; and pay parking and camera tickets. Residents are encouraged to scroll all the way down the webpage to find the available services.

NOTE: Due to ongoing system disruptions from the City’s cyber attack, property tax payments CANNOT be made online. You must pay by mail or in-person inside City Hall at 1300 Perdido St.

To contact District E, or one of the other Council offices, please use the temporary alternative email addresses listed here.
