Aloha Damien ʻOhana,
I want to inform you that I completed my review of the dismissal of our football coaches this past weekend. I have reviewed all available documents and invited all persons who had direct information concerning the matter and I found no breach of fiduciary duty. Anthony Tuitele and Ron Dalmacio will be reinstated as Damien Memorial football coaches effective immediately. What I did learn is that we do need more clarity in our fiscal processes and I will work with our administrators to ensure there is no such misunderstanding in the future.
This matter is now closed and we can return to our primary privilege of educating students. I pray that our ʻohana will continue to heal, support each other, our students and Damien Memorial School. Viriliter Age!
