Dear Friends and Colleagues:

After more than 10 years of service, I’ve decided to leave the State Chamber of Oklahoma this June. While this chapter of my career is ending, I plan on continuing to be involved in the Oklahoma business community and will be pursuing other opportunities. You’ll be pleased to know that a search committee to find my successor has been formed, and you will soon receive a survey from the committee to gather your input on the executive search process.

Serving as your President and CEO has been one of the most rewarding jobs of my life. I have truly enjoyed getting to know so many of you over the years as we worked together to improve the business climate and economic competitiveness of our great state. Our efforts these past years have built a solid foundation for this organization.

As I look back, it has been an honor to serve you and Oklahoma’s business community. Thanks to your involvement with the State Chamber, we have worked to transform Oklahoma into one of the most pro-business states in the country.

I’d like to thank our Board of Directors for their leadership and steadfast commitment to the State Chamber. I would also like to thank our extremely talented staff for all their hard work on your behalf. None of the success we’ve seen would be possible without their dedication to our organization.

Lastly, I want to thank you, our members, for your involvement. A state is only as strong as the citizens exercising their civic duty. Now more than ever, our state needs individuals who are willing to take the time and engage in the political process. Thank you for joining us to help promote the policies and agendas that are key to the success of the Oklahoma business community.

Again, thank you all for the honor to serve you,
Fred Morgan
President and CEO
