Dear Levine Families,
These closing days of the school year have been extraordinary examples of school spirit in several areas of our school, along with impressive culminating projects and grand celebrations of our graduates and athletes. Cheerful and sincere thanks go to our teachers and staff for the many ways they retooled and delivered whatever was possible in terms of connectivity, learning, encouragement, and support to our students. The essence of our school really shined through during this most challenging phase of our community and our society.

Turning our attention to what's immediately ahead of us, I want to invite all of our parents to join us for a live ZOOM Summer Camp Town Hall Meeting next week. This will take place on Monday evening, June 1 at 8:00 PM, using a link that we will distribute to families on Sunday. The Summer Camp Town Hall Meeting will offer information about our summer camps and will highlight the steps we are taking to safeguard our students and staff.

To prepare for our Summer Camp Town Hall Meeting, we invite you to submit your camp-related questions in advance by emailing them to info@levineacademy.org. But before you do so, we also want you to review our new LEVINE FAQ's for COVID, by clicking HERE. We expect this FAQ list to be a continuously updated list of questions and answers, as we are acquiring new information from various authorities every week.

Although the main focus of this Summer Camp Town Hall will focus on camp, we feel this is important information for all of our families to have, since so much of what we are putting in place beginning on June 8 we expect will be part of our regular routine when we start the new school year in August.

The end of the 2019/2020 school year is listed on our standard calendar as Thursday, May 28, but please know that all of us on the admin team are here and are moving forward into next week and beyond to begin our phase of summertime support to our camps and to prepare our school for the fall. In short, we are here and ready to help you. Our admin team will begin an at-school work schedule that will assure that we have a core number of administrators in place and ready to serve your needs.

Many thanks for your patience, understanding, and cooperation this spring, and I hope this letter finds you and your family healthy and staying safe.
