The Theatre Industry is forever changed! No Movies are going to be released in Aug/Sept and soon Oct. How can an industry built around showing new releases survive if there are no movies being released.

should be getting Canadian films into our Canadian theatres I have been calling and emailing them but they are the hardest federal bureaucracy to deal with. I know that
Wonder Woman 1984
has been moved till Oct. but every two weeks the studio is having meetings about possibly moving the picture. The Studio is going to pull Wonder Woman 1984 from it's Oct. release date they are just waiting for an excuse. Theatres in BC are doing about 10% of the revenue they were doing the same period last year, good most long term employees will not be returning to the Theatre industry.

we stayed open every day
during this COVID crisis, and with your support, all employees get as many hours as they can work and a full cheque.
We have also provided everyone with a pay raise for working during these difficult times.
