School Calendar Change
September 8th - Instructional Day

Please note that the 2020-2021 School Calendar has been updated to reflect Tuesday, September 8th as an instructional day! This will be the first day our students may return to On-Campus Learning.
Saturday Morning with the Superintendent
This Saturday, Dr. Goddard and Team will host a "Virtual Saturday Morning with the Superintendent" webinar to answer pre-submitted questions from our community!

We will be live streaming this question and answer session on our Facebook page and will provide a link on the front of our Lovejoy ISD webpage. Our session will run from 8:00 am - 9:00 am.

We ask that you help us answer as many questions as possible by keeping your question brief. We will do our very best to answer as many questions as we can within the hour and those we do not have time for we will carry forward for another session!
Grab & Go Lunch
Student Nutrition Service will be offering grab and go lunches to our Kindergarten - Sixth (K-6) grade students during the first three weeks, while all students are virtual learning. The meals will be distributed daily on scheduled school days from the courtyard behind Sloan Creek Intermediate School starting Monday, August 17th from 11:00 AM to 12:30 PM.

The menu is available on the Student Nutrition webpage.

The grab and go lunch price will be $2.50. The price for households who qualify for reduced-price meals is $0.40 and free for those households who qualify for free meals. To qualify for free/reduced-priced meals, please complete a 2020-2021 Income Application. If you qualified last school year, you would need to complete another application for this school year. The application is available on the Student Nutrition webpage.

To minimize cash handling, we encourage households to utilize the online
prepayment system, www.myschoolbucks.com.

If paying by check, please make out to Student Nutrition and include
the student’s full name and student ID number on the memo line. Cash should be in a sealed envelope labeled with your child’s full name, student ID number, and school name. Change will not be available.

Student Nutrition Services looks forward to the opportunity to serve you, and we appreciate your continued support for our Nutrition Program.
