Dear Mari,

We’re thrilled to announce that the Prairie Stars Dinner is officially sold out! Your incredible support is a testament to the enduring love for Prairie Woods Environmental Learning Center, a place where generations have come together to learn and grow.

As we gather next week, let’s honor the visionaries who first brought Prairie Woods to life and ensure that their legacy continues. This year, our Fund-a-Need Paddle Raise will be focused on an initiative close to my heart: establishing a new nature preschool at Prairie Woods Environmental Learning Center—a dream that will nurture the next generation in the wonders of the natural world. This is more than just a preschool; it's an opportunity to instill a lifelong love for the outdoors in our youngest generation.

The big night is just around the corner—Thursday, September 5th, at 5:30pm at the Pavilion. Whether you’re attending or not, your generosity is still needed. Every donation, large or small, will help us reach our goal of starting this nature preschool. Your generosity will help us continue the important work at Prairie Woods, and we need everyone’s support to make this happen.

Thank you for being a part of this legacy. I can't wait to see the incredible impact we'll make together. Your support will shape the future for generations to come.

With deep gratitude,

Colleen Thompson-Michels
