Spiritual Reflection
“The wizard [of Oz] says look inside yourself and find self. God says look inside yourself and find [the Holy Spirit]. The first will get you to Kansas. The latter will get you to heaven. Take your pick.”

Wildwood Middle High School New Mentors Needed
New Covenant’s Mentor Program annually has around 35 Mentors working with Mentees from ninth to twelfth grade, primarily at Wildwood Middle High School.
Our current Mentors “move up” with their Mentees each year, but because of how popular the program continues to be, we have more students who are asking for Mentors. Each year, we recruit adults who have a heart for teenagers and a sincere desire to provide love, patience, guidance, and support over a period of four years as the Mentee journeys from ninth grade through graduation. The Mentor Program focuses on four foundational areas: physical, spiritual, behavioral, and academic/career needs.
If God is leading you to this special program and you would like more information, please use the button below to contact Anne Foote Hill, Director of Administration.

Discover the Joy of Volunteering at New Covenant
At New Covenant United Methodist Church, our vision is to be a thriving body of Christ — serving as His hands, feet, and voice in the world. One of the most meaningful ways you can be a part of this vision is through volunteering.
Whether you serve within the church or out in the community, volunteering connects you more deeply to our mission and to each other. It’s not just about filling a role — it’s about discovering purpose, building relationships, and experiencing the joy of serving as part of our church family.
If you’ve ever wondered what your unique gifts are or where you might best serve, we invite you to begin by taking a Spiritual Gifts Assessment. Understanding your spiritual gifts helps guide you to opportunities that align with your passions and strengths—making your service both impactful and fulfilling.
Take the Spiritual Gifts Assessment using the button below. Then reach out to Ashley Hill to explore where you might best fit.
If you already know your spiritual gifts and are ready to get involved, visit the Welcome Center for current opportunities or check out Volunteer Central on our church website.
Together, let’s live into our calling and continue to be the hands, feet, and voice of Christ in the world.

Staying Connected with New Covenant During the Summer Season
We recognize that summer a time when many New Covenant congregants are traveling, spending time up north, or otherwise located away from the church campus.
Whenever you’re away home during the weekend, we invite you to join us for worship on the church website, YouTube channel, or Facebook Page. We especially enjoy interacting with you in the Comments sections on these platforms.
In addition, the New Covenant podcast, available on Apple Podcasts and Spotify, is a great way to listen to the audio of our weekly sermons.
Wherever your plans take you this summer, we hope that you will continue to be a part of the life of the church, whether online or in person.

Digital & Production Ministry Volunteers
Have you ever wanted to give back to your Church in a very tangible and impactful way? Then consider joining the Digital & Production Ministry!
Volunteers in the Digital & Production Ministry help make sure that Worship and other church events go smoothly. Whether it’s displaying graphics for the Message, or lyrics on the screen to help the congregation follow along during Hymns, or operating a camera for our in-person and livestreamed worship services, your help is greatly needed!
If you’ve ever used a computer before, or taken pictures or videos with your phone, then you can use our equipment. Seriously! Our knowledgeable staff will work with you to train you on the specifics. If you’d like, we can arrange to have you shadow one of our existing volunteers to see if this ministry is a good fit for you. No commitment required!
If you are even a little technologically inclined, we need you. This Church would not be as effective in its Worship services, concerts, and other events and ministries if it were not for the Digital & Production Ministry. Please consider joining.
For more information, contact Branden Paul, Technical Manager.

Our Hearts Follow Our Treasure
Matthew 6:20-21 says: But lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust doth corrupt, and where thieves do not break through nor steal: For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also. (KJV)
Our hearts naturally follow our treasure. If you give and live such that most of your treasure is waiting for you in heaven, that’s where your heart will be.

Backpacks4Kids presents “Aspects of Love”
Sunday, June 22 at 6 PM in the Christian Life Center
Love is never just one thing. It is sacred and sensual, fragile and fierce, playful, tragic, and transcendent. In this richly varied program, soprano Cynthia Fisher, soprano Deanna Peden, and tenor Mark Schmidt explore love in all its shifting shades — through the soaring melodies of opera, the wit of Broadway, and the lush lyricism of song. Sean Pollock will be at the piano, bringing color and nuance to every note.
From the spiritual ecstasy of Thaïs to the glittering irony of Candide, from the light-hearted joy of I Could Have Danced All Night to Puccini’s luminous La Canzone di Doretta and Verdi’s iconic La donna è mobile, each performer brings a distinct voice and emotional palette to the evening.
Whether you come for the purity of Caro Nome, the tenderness of Somewhere, or the triumphant swell of Nessun Dorma, you’ll find yourself moved by the many facets — the many aspects — of love.
A suggested donation ($20) at the door helps to support the vital work of our Backpacks4Kids Ministry, providing school supplies for children in our Wildwood community. Come be inspired — and help make a difference!

Prayer
Prayer is an important part of the life of one who follows Jesus. Part of our charge is to pray for others who are in need, plus continue to pray for those in service to our country through military, public servants, and others that help our lives be safe and secure. We have prayer request cards all over the campus that are put there for your use. Please fill free to complete one and put in the designated boxes. Even quicker than that, is our online prayer request which is easily completed through our website, and it goes directly to those who will pray right away. Let’s continue to keep each other lifted in prayer!
