Spiritual Reflection
“Jesus, Lover of my soul,
Let me to Thy bosom fly,
While the nearer waters roll,
While the tempest still is high:
Hide me, O thou Savior, hide
Till the storm of life is past;
Safe into the haven guide,
O receive my soul at last.”

New Covenant’s Renovation Project
New Covenant is committed to growing our church and impacting lives for Jesus Christ. Later this summer, we will begin our Renovation Project that will enhance our facilities to help us continue to minister to people every day.
Our church leadership has been planning and preparing for this Renovation Project over the past year. We believe this project will update several important areas within our facilities. The scope of the project includes the remodeling the Fellowship Center along with Audio/Video/Lighting improvements. Other enhancements will include furnishings, flooring, and new exterior signage.
Our goal is to raise $250,000 to support this project. Each dollar raised will be matched by a New Covenant family’s donation of $250,000. We hope you will consider financially supporting the project.
Pledge Cards for the Renovation Project are now available at the “Welcome Center” in the Narthex before weekend services and in the Administration Office during regular church business hours on weekdays. You can also fill out a digital Pledge Card to electronically submit your commitment. Thank you for your consideration in supporting this project and the vision to grow our church.
If you haven't had the chance to see the Town Hall Meeting explaining the upcoming Renovation Project, you may watch the recording below. If you have any questions, please call the church office.
“But we grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. To him be glory both now and forever! Amen.” (2 Peter 3:18)

Songs of Rodgers & Hammerstein
Sunday, August 11 at 6 PM in the Christian Life Center
Get ready to be transported to the golden age of Broadway as we present “Songs of Rodgers and Hammerstein.” This special concert will feature songs from timeless classics such as “Oklahoma,” “South Pacific,” and many more. This will be an evening of unforgettable melodies and enchanting performances. We are thrilled to have the renowned tenor Mark Steven Schmidt and the talented pianist Gary Powell gracing our stage. Their exceptional talent and passion for music will bring the magic of Rodgers and Hammerstein to life, creating a night you won’t want to miss.
The admission is free, but we kindly suggest a $20 donation to benefit our Backpacks4Kids ministry. Our goal is to raise an additional $5,000 to ensure every child in our community has the supplies they need for the upcoming school year. Your generosity will make a significant impact, helping provide essential tools for children to succeed.
So, mark your calendars and join us for an extraordinary evening filled with music, joy, and community spirit. Together, we can make a difference and ensure every child is ready for the new school year.

Giving is About the Heart
In everything I did, I showed you that by this kind of hard work we must help the weak, remembering the words the Lord Jesus himself said: “It is more blessed to give than to receive.” (Acts 20:35)
We’re not called to give an identical offering and shouldn’t judge others based on how much or little they’re able to give. Neither should we feel guilty or compelled to give out of obligation. Jesus and His disciples saw the widow who put two small copper coins in the offering box and Jesus highlighted the poor widow’s sacrifice. She gave a perfect gift because she gave what she had, from the heart.

Lincolnville Museum and Cultural Center
September 17 from 7:30 AM – 4 PM
Please join us for a day trip to Lincolnville Museum and Cultural Center in the Lincolnville neighborhood of St. Augustine, Florida. The museum is housed in the former Excelsior School, the first public high school for black students in St. Johns County (1925 to 1968). Once the school was closed, the building housed government offices until the mid-1980s. A group of former students and community members worked to save the building from demolition. When the museum opened in 2005, it was known as the Excelsior Museum and Cultural Center. It was given its current name in 2012.
We will meet at the church and take the church bus. We will stop for lunch and pay individually. The cost for admission to the museum is $9 for military service members and those 60 and older. For all others, the cost of admission is $10. Admission will be paid upon arrival at the museum.
Registration is required and is limited to the first 23 people. If you need assistance registering, please contact Ashley Hill, First Impressions Manager.

Student Ministry Updates
We are excited to share some important updates regarding our Student Ministry at New Covenant. To further enhance Student Ministry, we are thrilled to introduce Kylie Elstad as our new Ministry Assistant. Kylie brings a wonderful energy and a passion for children's ministry. She has been working and creating a nurturing and engaging nursery space for our youngest members, ensuring they have a positive and safe environment to begin their faith journey.
Together, Kylie and Olivia Collins, Student Minister, have been dedicated to developing a comprehensive ministry structure that serves the needs of all age groups within our church family. Our goal is to foster a strong sense of community and faith among our kids and youth while supporting their families in meaningful ways.
Please take a moment to review our new Student Ministry programs. We are confident that these changes will provide a more well rounded approach to spiritual growth and community building for all our members. We are also beginning a new small group for young adults. If you are interested in joining this small group, please contact Olivia Collins.
Thank you for your continued support and involvement in our Student Ministry!
