Spiritual Reflection
“The love God holds for us is a form of compassion. God saw that humanity was lost and would never find the life God intended for us when were first created. In love, God became incarnate in Jesus, who is LORD. When we experience the grace and love of God, it shows us a way towards compassion towards others.”
Bishop Tom Berlin

More Than a Concert — An American Story Worth Singing
Sunday, June 28 at 5 PM in the Christian Life Center
What does it mean to be American — and how do we celebrate 250 years of a nation still growing, striving, and singing forward together?
Join New Covenant’s Chancel Choir, instrumentalists, and guest soloists for a powerful and uplifting evening of music, storytelling, and reflection at Celebrate America 2026 — a concert experience unlike any other in our community.
Hosted by Angie Rose and Sean Pollock, this special event weaves together beloved patriotic music, spirituals, Broadway favorites, and moving narrations that honor both the promise and the ongoing journey of America.
Featuring music ranging from The Star-Spangled Banner and God Bless America to moving selections including Give Me Your Tired, Your Poor, Lady Liberty, and I Hear America Singing, this inspiring evening celebrates the voices, sacrifices, hopes, and dreams that continue to shape our nation.
Come experience an evening of hope, gratitude, unity, and song as we celebrate the story we are still singing together.

Bertha Fund
The Bertha Fund is a non-budgeted pool of contributions at New Covenant which was created to assure that no person is ever denied access to our Christian Counseling ministry for financial reasons. The fund was conceived and founded by Donna Hendren, New Covenant’s Fresh Expressions Pastor, as a means of helping those who struggle with different situations, events, and illnesses that would benefit from Christian Counseling. Donna, also by development of this fund, honors her Aunt Bertha who struggled with mental health challenges.
Our Christian Counselors, Connie Giguere and Brenda Warren, have clients in all stages and walks of life from The Villages and neighboring communities such as Wildwood, Oxford, Ocala, Summerfield, and Webster. Our counselors and New Covenant desire to help others through the power of the Holy Spirit by providing this wonderful service to our community.
Since its initial funding in February of 2015, dozens of individuals have accessed this fund. As a non-budgeted ministry, The Bertha Fund is dependent on fundraising and is completely underwritten by your generous gifts and support. If you would like to make a gift to support this ministry, please notate the Bertha Fund on your check.

This display will be a "Legacy Tree," with the leaves bearing the names of the individuals who have given to the New Covenant Legacy Fund or who have indicated that they have included New Covenant in their will or trust.
The dedication for the Legacy Tree is scheduled for the end of July.
For more information about contributing to the Legacy Fund, please use the button below or visit the kiosk near the East entrance to the Narthex after Sunday worship services.

Give the Glory to God
As a result of your ministry, they will give glory to God. (2 Corinthians 9:13)
The blessings that God gives us cultivates a heart of thankfulness. This thankfulness gives glory to God. Ultimately, our giving becomes an act of confessing the gospel of Christ. This is huge! Our correct motivation for giving preaches the gospel! We give because God has given to us!

Bargains & Blessings Volunteers Needed
Your help is needed for a few hours a month at Bargains & Blessings Resale Store in downtown Wildwood. During the summer months, the store loses about 40 percent of its volunteers. Many of them are seasonal who travel home during this time of year. We would love to have you join us in the following areas: the Boutique, Intake, Family Outreach, the Main Store, the Annex, or as a scheduler for pickups and deliveries.
Volunteers are also needed for one hour every other month when the Bargains & Blessings truck is on the church campus to meet and greet those who have donations. This amounts to only six times per year, and no heavy lifting is involved.
If you are interested in volunteering, please contact Janine Rogers, Director of Missions and Outreach.
