Lenton Music Meditations:
A Time of Reflection and Renewal
As we journey through the sacred season of Lent, we invite you to step away from the busyness of life and enter a space of peace, prayer, and contemplation.
Each Wednesday at 12:15 PM in the Chapel, organist Gary Powell will guide us through a 30-minute musical meditation enriched with thoughtful readings. This noontime concert series offers a sacred pause—a moment to reflect, pray, and prepare our hearts as we continue toward the promise of Easter.
Music can quiet our souls and draw us closer to God, and through these meditative offerings, we hope to provide a sanctuary for spiritual renewal. Whether you come for a brief respite from your day or to seek deeper connection in your Lenten journey, you are welcome to join us.
We look forward to sharing this meaningful time with you. Come as you are, and let the music lead you into stillness and grace.

Doors open at 5:30 PM
Music has the power to uplift, inspire, and bring people together. This powerful evening of worship and inspiration promises to be an unforgettable experience of faith, music, and community.
For over 27 years, Alex-Zsolt has used his extraordinary talent to share the gospel through music, traveling to over 2,500 churches worldwide. With a unique ability to bring hymns, praise songs, and original compositions to life, his music reaches deep into the hearts of audiences. Hospitality Highlight – March 2025
Why is Keeping Your Information Updated Important?
As a churchgoer at New Covenant, you have a portal account on our website.
Your portal account contains important information, including your photo, birthday, and emergency contact details. Throughout March, we are focusing on ensuring that this information is accurate and up to date.
Why Does This Matter?
-
Your Photo: Having a current photo in your profile helps our pastors and staff put a name with a face, making it easier to connect with you personally. We all need a little help with remembering sometimes! These photos are used only internally by church staff and are never shared. If your profile is missing a photo, you’ll receive an email soon – please keep an eye out.
-
Emergency Contact Information: This is vital for your safety within our church community. In case of an emergency, concerns about your well-being, or an unforeseen incident on church property having an up-to-date emergency contact allows us to reach the right person quickly. Please take a moment to click the box below and fill in the form.
-
Your Birth Date: While it may seem like a small detail, your birthday plays a key role in keeping our church records accurate. It helps us understand demographic patterns, plan meaningful programs and classes, and create missions and activities that best serve our congregation and community.
At New Covenant, we deeply value your trust. Because you entrust us with your personal information, confidential prayer requests, and generous tithes and offerings, we are committed to handling your data with the utmost care and confidentiality.
Thank you for taking the time to ensure your information is up to date. You can update your missing information using the form below. For questions about updating your Portal Account, please stop by the Computer Center before worship services or contact Ashley Hill, First Impressions Manager.

Kindness
Whoever is kind to the poor lends to the Lord, and He will reward them for what they have done. (Proverbs 19:17)
This verse impacts our finances in two ways: First, it’s directed where much of our giving goes. We look for organizations that serve the poor and give to them. Second, we have seen God’s blessings on our finances as a result.

Legacy Giving
Giving through your will or trust allows you to keep your assets while you need them.

Celebration Brass Band
Sunday, March 9 at 6 PM
Patterned after the traditional brass bands of Europe and England in particular, Celebration Brass is made up of brass and percussion instruments — no strings or woodwinds. This instrumentation lends itself to a purity of sound that is quite unique, yet vibrant with variety. Whether soothing and quiet or shouting with excitement, it is a sound like no other. Its great strength lies in the fact that, with the exception of the percussion, all the instruments are in the same family.
The typical brass band concert is full of variety, and Celebration Brass concerts are no different. On March 9, from the exciting opening piece Bridgewater Intrada, to John Williams famously reverent Hymn to the Fallen, to a Fantasy on British Sea Songs, to a set of rollicking Irish Dances, to Queen’s unforgettable Bohemian Rhapsody, Celebration Brass will carry its audience through all kinds of wonderful and varied musical moods.
Tickets are required ($20). Tickets are also available at the door.
