I am honored to begin serving this week as co-rabbi of Pleasantville Community Synagogue. It has been a joy to serve with Rabbi Shosh over the past year, and we are delighted to continue our family’s journey - together with our sons Ari and Isaiah- at PCS and in the local community.

My goal is to help guide us towards the refreshing and healing elements that are in us and around us. In that way, we can nourish our capacity for love, hope, joy, understanding, peace and inclusiveness.

Together with our wonderful leadership, I seek to elevate and inspire the PCS community through Jewish music, spiritual wisdom, and contemplative practice and innovation. PCS is a diverse, welcoming, and spiritually vibrant community, where all are welcome. We provide a sanctuary in all aspects of the word, open to all and with multiple pathways for engagement. I will work with the Board and committees to develop our vision for our exciting shared future, and am equally excited to revitalize the band! The more music the better.

There are many ways to be involved in growing and deepening our community - please reach out to Rabbi Shosh or me. I would also be happy to offer you a Kabbalistic Tarot reading- a great way for us to get to know each other,

Every mitzvah we do should be dedicated to the ultimate joy, freedom, and peace of all beings. In the language of the Jewish mystics in the “unification of the Shechinah, the female aspect of the Divine, and the Kadosh Baruch Hu, the male aspect of the Divine, [is] the unification of the Divine that exists in the world and the divine that transcends the world,” we affirm the purpose of our dedicated actions: to bring peace and harmony to all that is around us.

Together, may we explore and embrace ancient and innovative paradigms of Jewish life, while showing up for each other as a true community. May our holy work bring happiness and compassion and relieve the suffering of all beings, le-shem yichud Kudsha Brich Hu U-Shechinahteh, for the sake of the great Unification.

I am so looking forward to connecting with everyone at PCS! Please don’t hesitate to be in touch.
