Dear Emanuel Mishpacha:
During two very heartfelt days, we have eulogized our mother, Sarah, in Chicago and laid her to rest in Kansas City. The Beth El and Beth Shalom congregations were wonderful, and we felt comforted.
l will sit Shiva tonight at my brother's home in Deerfield, Illinois, and return to West Hartford on Friday.
I will observe the rest of Shiva at Emanuel, saying Kaddish during our Emanuel minyan. There will be in-person visiting hours at Emanuel Saturday night after Havdallah, from 5:15 p.m.-7:30 p.m., and on Sunday and Monday from 9:00 a.m.-noon and 2:00 p.m.-7:00 p.m. I plan to get up from Shiva after the 7:00 a.m. Morning Minyan on Tuesday, Jan. 3.
I look forward to coming home and spending
the balance of Shiva with our Emanuel family and our local community! Thank you for all your kindness and support.
