KEEP IN PRAYER - REV. MICHAEL OBENAUER

Rev. Michael Obenauer asked that I let you know about his situation. I am a friend and colleague of Michael, having first met him when he was the Associate Conference Minister, and I served as interim pastor at Mayflower UCC. We have remained in touch through the years.

Michael writes:

"I am not well. I am in hospice care. It appears I have pancreas cancer and colon cancer for which there are no cures. That is why I am in hospice care. I have pain, I have nausea and have not been given an estimate of years in which I can live.

I have wonderful care companions who come every day. Their main goals are to help me to be as comfortable and as pain-free and comfortable as possible. A third goal is to help me to take care of my beautiful, little baby Beagle Girl, Daisy, in the only home she has known."

I know that he would appreciate your letting people know of his circumstances. Thank you, and blessings to all in the Conference.

Sincerely,

Rev. Dr. Thomas L. Hall
