Dear Lakehill Families,

As the situation with the Coronavirus (COVID-19) changes rapidly, we are assessing its potential impact on our community. Although we have not heard of any reported cases at Lakehill Preparatory School, out of an abundance of caution, we have decided to close beginning Friday, March 13, and will remain closed through our scheduled Spring Break.

We will use Friday, March 13, as a professional development day for our faculty members to give them additional time to prepare for remote learning, should that become necessary in the coming weeks.

Please note: No decision has yet been made as to whether we will close after Spring Break. That decision will be made mid-week and will be communicated to you at that time.

As Spring Break approaches, please be mindful of global travel restrictions and the potential risks associated with travel to regions affected by the outbreak. We ask for all of our families to review travel information and real-time alerts issued by the CDC.
Anyone returning from CDC Level 3 travel advisory locations for Coronavirus (COVID-19) will be required to self-isolate for 14 days before returning to campus.

We appreciate your understanding and support as we maintain our commitment to the health and safety of our school community.

Sincerely,
Perry Signature
