Under Dr. Hagerty’s guidance, Beacon has become a national model for neurodiversity education. The college has grown in size, stature and confidence, earning recognition from U.S. News & World Report, Forbes, Peterson’s and the United Nations. Our campus has expanded, our academic programs have strengthened and our students have achieved outcomes that far exceed national benchmarks. These accomplishments reflect not only Dr. Hagerty’s vision but the collective dedication of our faculty, staff, students and families.
We are profoundly grateful for the stability, purpose and ambition he has brought to Beacon College. His legacy will endure in the lives of the students we serve and in the institution we continue to build together.
The Board of Trustees will soon begin a thoughtful and inclusive search for Beacon’s next president. We are committed to a process that reflects the values of this community and positions the college for continued success. Throughout this transition, Dr. Hagerty will remain fully engaged in leading the institution, ensuring continuity and momentum.
