Greetings!

It has been a busy week!

On Sunday there was the the Marine Corps birthday and the American Freedom Festival concert to benefit our active military, Veterans and HCB 16.9 their families. Monday was a day of reflection and thanks as we acknowledged Veteran's Day. Since then we've found ourselves in the final three weeks of planning, receiving donations, signing up sponsors and confirming guest bartenders for the 5th Anniversary Holiday Charity Bash on 12/4. Phew! With all of that going on, can you blame me for skipping our weekly newsletter and doing it the easy way this time?
Charity Bash Update: Registration Looks Great, Extending Early-Bird Prices
Amy at the bar
We're excited about the response we've received for the Holiday Charity Bash as we have nearly two-hundred guests pre-registered to include forty passes Wounded Warriors we've invited from the Wounded Warrior Regiment at Quantico and the Army Wounded Warrior Program (AW2) at Fort Belvoir. This doesn't happen without the support of great sponsors, donors and volunteers!

Additionally, because of the additional strain many of us are feeling as a result of budget cuts, sequestration and the government shutdown, Maggie and I have decided to extend early-bird pricing through the 27th of November (originally the 15th). This includes the Office Party Packs which make it much less expensive and fewer headaches for companies that decide to have their holiday party with us. C'mon! Why wouldn't you?

Information + Knowing Where To Look For It + Knowing How To Use It = Opportunities!

asbs of govcon I just wrapped up another successful Ethical Stalking for Government Contractors workshop and will be leading an edition of our new Information To Win:FPDS-NG workshop this morning in Gaithersburg, MD (it's available as a webinar, too!).

Both of these programs are getting rave reviews from attendees which of course get's me pretty fired up. Why? When we originally developed the Ethical Stalking for Government Contractors program, our goal was to help companies be more efficient by having more and better information. That's exactly what we're doing says many of our alumni including Robert Whitfield, Vice President of Operations, Patriot Group International:

"The Ethical Stalking seminar was truly an eye-opener for me. After many years in the industry I wasn't convinced I was going to learn anything I didn't already know. I was dead wrong. I wish I would have taken this course 10 years ago. I strongly recommend anyone of any experience level to attend this course. It has saved me time and money, the two most valuable resources a small business has."

Have questions about either program? Give me a call so we can help you boost your ability to find and win government contracts and subcontracts.

Have a great rest of the week!
