Dear Community Partners
I want to update you about the possibility of a federal government shutdown and what it could mean for our work at NCDHHS and our collaboration with you. A federal shutdown occurs when Congress fails to pass a budget or continuing resolution, requiring many government agencies to pause or scale back operations.
At NCDHHS, we are closely monitoring the situation and planning accordingly. While not all programs will be affected, some that rely primarily on federal funding may experience temporary disruptions.
We are committed to maintaining services to the greatest extent possible and will continue to communicate regularly as we receive additional guidance. If you are a contracted partner or grantee whose work may be impacted, you will be contacted directly by your program lead.
Thank you for your continued partnership in serving the people of North Carolina.
My Best,
Kelly
