• Colleges, universities, governments and organizations joining ITGA in recent months including: North Carolina State University, Hillsborough Street Community Service Corporation (HSCSC) City of Raleigh NC, Streetsense (Strategy and Design Collective), University of North Carolina Charlotte, City of Golden, Colo., Fleming College, City of Fullerton Calif., and Cal State Fullerton, and more! Welcome.

• We followed up with two key member-led requests that spun out of our successful ITGA City & University Relations Conference hosted by State College & Penn State University: The need for an established ITGA platform connecting professionals new to town-gown work; and background tied to developing regional conferences.

• We held our first-ever webinar led, in part, by ITGA Board President Ron Jackson, with inputs and tech support from ITGA members. It was a fully subscribed success that also included viewing parties. 

• We created a new Outreach Committee that produced an ITGA video, a new brochure, an internship program, assisted with media requests and ITGA-related placements, and helped rebrand the former Dateline to a new and improved “Campus-Community Connections.”

• Welcomed former ITGA board president Susan Stafford as ITGA’s first Assistant Executive Director, giving our organization more bandwidth on long-term planning and new initiatives. Susan is based in Boulder, Colo., host of our 2020 ITGA Conference June 1-3. 

• The 2019 Data Digest Survey is ITGA's second survey of member campuses and communities. The 2019 ITGA Data Digest is expansive, detailed, and rich with new information and insights. The report will be available for member access in November, and highlighted in our newsletter, Camus-Community Connections.

• The pending release of The New American College Town featuring numerous case studies and three chapters from ITGA members. More details in our newsletter soonest.
