March 13, 2019
In honor of all the women in business that continue to pave the way for future generations of female leaders, the Illinois Chamber of Commerce is hosting its second annual
Women in Business Conference this Friday, March 15, 2019 at Pinstripes in Oak Brook, IL.
Its theme, #SecondToNoOne, encourages women to invest in themselves to become courageous leaders and unstoppable forces in their careers. We want to inspire attendees and facilitate communication on real practices that can be applied to their lives and organizations.
Balance, inclusion and diversity of talent and opportunity are integral to creating stronger business and a stronger Illinois. The Women in Business Conference explores employer investments that promote diversity, inclusion and innovation. Proven influencers will share information on leadership, strength, risk, and communication.
The day will include networking, lunch and remarks from our special guest Illinois Congressman Mike Quigley (D-Chicago).
Amanda H. Young, MBA and bestselling author of the book 'Finding Clarity: Design a Business You Love and Simplify Your Marketing', and Sally Washlow, SVP and Practice Leader at the Lee Hecht Harrison International Center for Executive Options, will give the keynote addresses. Our diverse group of panelists will lead three discussions: It Matters: Inclusion and Diversity, Strength in Leadership and My Journey Here.
We hope you and members of your team will join us at our conference and help move the needle in achieving greater gender equity and diversity in business and beyond.
Sincerely,
Chairman Meghan Woltman
President and CEO Todd Maisch
