Lovejoy ISD is proud to announce Lovejoy High School Alumna Natalie Puckett as the Head Volleyball Coach. 
 
Coach Natalie Puckett is entering her 7th year in public education. During the 2020-2021 school year she served as the Varsity Assistant Coach of the 2020 5A UIL State Volleyball Champion Lovejoy Leopards and Lovejoy High School Algebra Teacher. Coach Puckett was named to the 2020 American Volleyball Coaches Association 30 Under 30 list which acknowledges 30 up and coming coaches under 30 years old.
 
Lovejoy ISD Athletic Director Chris Ross stated, “We are excited to announce one of our own as the new Head Coach for our Lovejoy Volleyball program. Natalie was a player, captain, and state champion during her time as a student at Lovejoy High School. As a Coach, she was a key contributor to our 2020 state championship run. Her unique experiences with outstanding programs, as well as her strong ties to Lovejoy, make her the perfect person to lead our program.”
 
Previous positions include Volleyball Varsity Assistant Coach and Algebra Teacher at Highland Park High School from 2018-2020. Additionally, Coach Puckett served in Carroll ISD from 2016-2018 at Dawson Middle School and Southlake Senior High School while coaching and teaching in both the Math and Special Education departments. Coach Puckett has also worked with Skyline Volleyball as well as Texas Volleyball Academy.
 
Coach Puckett is a lifetime Lovejoy Leopard, graduating from Lovejoy High School in 2011. She was a member of the Lady Leopards Volleyball team where the athletes secured the first three volleyball state championships in Lovejoy’s history. Natalie played club volleyball for 11 years for Storm, Victory, and TAV bringing home numerous tournament championships as well as a National Championship in 2010.
 
Natalie graduated from The University of Oklahoma in 2015 with a BS in Education. She furthered her education in 2019 with a Master’s degree in Educational Leadership from Lamar University.
