Help Shape the Future of Transportation in Watauga County!

CTP: Why it's Important and How to Submit Your Survey

What is a CTP?

A Comprehensive Transportation Plan (CTP) is the North Carolina Department of Transportation’s (NCDOT) needs based multi-modal transportation plan. A CTP is a long-range multi-modal transportation plan with a 25–30-year planning period that is used to identify transportation projects for future funding.

The 2013 Watauga County Comprehensive Transportation Plan (CTP) is in the process of being updated, and this is your chance to provide input!

Recommendations guided by a local steering committee and public input include:

  • Highways
  • Public Transportation
  • Bicycle and Pedestrian modes of transportation

How Can I Take the Survey?
