• Pine Street waterline and hydrant replacement

• Grading and paving of the Clark Street parking lot

• Partial roof replacement at Town Hall

Currently In Progress

• Sidewalk repairs on Laurel Lane

Scheduled Work

• Park Avenue waterline and hydrant replacement – Work is scheduled to begin Monday, October 12th. On Thursday, we met with the contractor for another project walk-through and review. The project will replace the 4-inch cast iron line with a 6-inch ductile iron line. Park Avenue will remain partially open during work hours. Beginning near the corner of Main Street, the contractor will work in 100-linear-foot sections. The street will fully reopen each night, and there will be no weekend work. Minor parking disruptions may occur during parts of the project. The contractor is aware of seasonal traffic and parking patterns and will adjust as needed.

• Blowing Rock Art and History Museum parking deck – Work begins November 2nd, with an anticipated two-week closure.

• Clary Court sidewalk repairs – Updated work plan: The project has been moved up and will begin Monday. The complete revised work plan is below.
