Message from QUEST President/CEO
Dear Friends of QUEST,

I hope this email finds all of you and your family safe and healthy. The last few weeks have been a real roller coaster ride with more uncertainty around every turn. Yet, despite uncertainty, I have seen amazing acts of kindness, courage and self-sacrifice. I realize many of us will be touched by the COVID-19 virus in many different ways. We will all be changed forever. During this difficult moment in time, I encourage all of us to focus on the three F’s: Faith, Family and Friends. Together, we will overcome this adversity and be better in the long-run. I also hope we can each aspire to an “attitude of gratitude” for all those amazing people serving on the front lines: doctors, nurses, first responders, grocery workers, truck drivers, etc. We should also appreciate the outstanding leadership of Mayor Ron Nirenberg, Judge Nelson Wolff, the City Council members and County Commissioners. In their own unique way, our public servants reflect the heart of our community. That is, service for the people.

As a passionate member of the local nonprofit industry, Project QUEST, with its partners, are committed to maintaining services during this critical time. Like so many other of the local non-profit agencies, we are working diligently to find creative ways to ensure our programs are available and accessible to those in our midst who are most in need. I am proud to report to you that the QUEST team has risen to the challenge.  We have successfully transitioned to working remotely. In doing so, we have continued to deliver services to our participants while establishing new processes and operating protocols. QUEST’s virtual outreach and coaching processes are working very well.  You may find the latest information about Project QUEST services on our website  www.questsa.org and social media platforms.

As you may know, the original BIG Give Campaign has been re-purposed to be the Big Give Emergency Relief Campaign. At the request of Mayor Nirenberg, the Nonprofit Council who manages Big Give, announced the Big Give Emergency Relief funds to assist with raising critical funds for nonprofits during this time of exceptional need. Project QUEST is providing direct support services to our participants who are feeling the financial strain. Please support our efforts by donating to QUEST’s Big Give fundraising effort.

On behalf of the Project QUEST Board of Directors, staff and participants, we truly appreciate all the support and encouragement during this crisis. We are determined to do our part and remain 100% committed to serve others.

I know the heart of our community! It is strong! It is resilient!

Stay safe and healthy,
David J. Zammiello, SPHR
