July 20, 2022 ● LYONS TOWNSHIP HIGH SCHOOL ● DISTRICT 204
Dear LTHS Class of 2026 Parents/Guardians and Families,

We are so excited to officially welcome our newest class of students and families to your LT Experience! The Class of 2026 Freshman Experience Day is less than one month away, and we look forward to continuing to support families as you prepare for the 2022-23 school year. While we cannot wait to meet our newest class of Lions on August 19th, we hope the Class of 2026 page on the LT website will continue to support the final stages of your student’s transition process. Our Class of 2026 page is a hub for students and families and includes information on academic programs, athletics & activities, parent organizations, registration process/health forms, and important dates.

As our students engage in their LT Experience, they will have access to an environment that is physically and emotionally safe, an academic curriculum that is comprehensive, challenging, and prepares them for life after high school, and a wide variety of co-curricular activities that meet their interests and needs! As we prioritize connectedness, fun, and belonging during the 2022-23 school year, we will encourage each member of our incoming freshman class to connect to at least one of our many activities! There truly is something for everyone at LT!

Our students will be part of a vibrant, engaging, and spirited school community as we foster their growth and affirm our motto, Vita Plena, the quest for the fulfilling life! We look forward to supporting our newest class as they build connections, develop relationships and take advantage of the many opportunities that LT has to offer! We cannot wait for the Class of 2026 to get started and are excited to see all they will accomplish during their time at LT!

We also wanted to reshare important back-to-school information and dates with your family.

Back-to-School Items
  • Complete Online Registration: The deadline for completing OLR for the 2022-23 school year was May 27. Those families that have not yet completed OLR need to do so immediately. Details are outlined within the Enrollment Services link on the Class of 2026 page.
  • Submit Birth Certificate: Birth certificates are required for all students. The deadline for families of incoming freshman students to submit an original birth certificate to the South Campus Main Office was July 18. Those families that have not yet submitted a birth certificate need to do so immediately. The birth certificate must include the name of at least one parent. A copy will be made and the original will be returned to the family. Targeted communications are regularly being sent to families that still need to submit their child’s birth certificate.
  • Submit Health Paperwork: Details are outlined within the Health Forms link on the Class of 2026 page. Students must have a completed health examination with proof of immunizations prior to the first day of school. Those students who do not submit paperwork prior to the first day of school will be excluded and unable to attend. Our Health Office will continue sending targeted communications to families that still need to submit medical paperwork.
  • Covid-19 Vaccine Card Submission: Fully vaccinated students are encouraged to share a copy of their vaccine card with the Health Office by emailing a jpeg picture or PDF to [email protected]. Students who are fully vaccinated do not have to quarantine in the case of a close contact; therefore, they will not have to miss school, activities, or athletics, unless they are symptomatic.
  • Complete Fee Payment: July 1 was the due date for online fee payment. Families that still need to complete fee payment can pay unpaid fees through the Infinite Campus Parent App. To view the individual charges and make a payment, login to your Infinite Campus Parent App account and select the Fees option for your student(s). You may make online payments using credit or debit cards, or via e-check directly from the Parent App. If you must pay by paper check, send your payment to the South Campus Bookstore. Be sure to include your student's LT ID number on your check.
If you have questions, please contact Mary O'Neill in the South Campus Bookstore at 708.579.6548.

  • Residency VerificationWe have contracted with a company to assist the district in electronically verifying residency. This means many families will not have to prove residency by bringing in documents and forms. Your family has been notified/will be notified of your residency verification status. You are either cleared for residency or you will be asked to bring in proper residency documentation. Specific instructions are included within residency communications.
  • Book Pick-Up: ·Lyons Township High School will welcome students on campus August 10, 11 and 15, 2022 to pick up their school issued supplies for the upcoming school year. Students are required to sign up for a time slot at the campus they will be attending. Parents are not expected to attend. Students will be picking up schedules, textbooks and Chromebooks (if they don’t already have one). Additionally, yearbook/ID pictures will be taken.
SOUTH CAMPUS Book Pick-Up - Click to schedule: All students will enter through the Main Entrance of the building at their appointment time. Parents that need to enter the building (residency/birth certificate document drop off, medication drop off to health office, complete a fee waiver application, etc.) should park in the north parking lot and accompany their student inside. Once inside, students will pick up their schedule, get their yearbook photo taken and receive their school ID card, pick up their Chromebook, Freshman Experience Day T-shirt, and get their book box. Questions should be directed to Class of 2026 Assistant Principal, Bryan Radavich at [email protected]
