Kane County Cougars ALL CHURCH EVENT Baseball game is Friday, August 1 at 6:30 pm. 

Come out to cheer on your Kane County Cougars as they take the field against the Fargo-Moorhead Redhawks. Join your UMCG family & friends and enjoy hot dogs and drinks --be sure to stick around for fireworks after the game. PLUS, it's Super Hero night, so feel free to don your favorite super hero tee or costume.

Game tickets are $9.00 per person, under 2 is free. General parking passes are $6.00 per vehicle or preferred parking is $10.00. Game tickets and parking passes must be purchased in advance for these prices. CAN YOU HELP MOW THE CHURCH'S LAWN?

Did you know that Rolland Lang has been mowing the church's lawn for years? We are looking for a couple of people that can help out by mowing the lawn 2-3 times during the growing season. Rolland can show you what needs to be done. Please contact Rolland Lang if interested.

Did you know we have committed to serving dinner one night a month at Hesed House? In addition, a small group of members have followed up that night by serving breakfast the next morning, and are looking to hand off the morning duties to some of our dedicated early birds. We have a sign up for both opportunities to help out at Hesed House -- check it out below:

Temuri comes from a close-knit family in Georgia. He has a younger sister. On exchange, Temuri would like to try a new sport and learn about US culture!

The United States is estimated to use 100 billion plastic bags a year. The recycling rate for plastic bags in the US is under 10% (ABC7 Chicago) with the rest ending up in landfills or being incinerated due to contamination or equipment limitations. Still others pollute our environment and cause concerns for wildlife. The solution is not recycling but reducing or better yet eliminating our use of single use plastic bags.

 By using reusable bags for shopping and produce purchases YOU can make the difference and the Creation Care team is going to make it easy for you to make the switch!  Pick up your free reusable produce bag during coffee hour on Sundays during the month of July! A reusable UMCG foldable shopping bag will also be available for a free will donation. Be part of the solution this Plastic Free July!
