Installation & Blessing of Messiah Lutheran School and

On this Sunday before the start of the school year, we will recognize, bless and pray over all of our Messiah Lutheran School and Early Childhood Center staff and teachers.

Back to School Blessing of the Backpacks - Special Service - Sunday, Aug 9 - 10:45am

All students and teachers are invited to participate in the special service to start the school year off with a blessing. Students of all ages - children through college aged - are encouraged to bring their backpacks on this day. Following the service, there will be an open house and tours provided by Messiah Lutheran School. Invite those you know.

We are traveling across the ocean this summer at VBS, to the green pastures of Emerald Crossing in Ireland. We will be learning all about God’s love for us. All kids from Pre-K thru 5th Grade can take part. We’re going to learn awesome songs, play super fun games, make fabulous crafts and so much more. Special Voters Meeting - Sunday, July 26 - 10:20am

Our Messiah Council has approved us going to a Fiscal calendar year which would run from August 1-July 31 each year which will require a new work program for the 2026-2027 Fiscal year for Messiah Voters to approve. Two items will be on the agenda. 1. Change the Standing rule # 3: RESOLVED that the Church Council shall submit to the November (update to July) Voter’s Meeting, the proposed work program for the next Fiscal year. 2. Presentation of the 2026-2027 Fiscal year workplan for Voter’s to approve.

Our Annual Senior Adult Summer VBS will be taking place the last 4 Thursdays in July. This summer we will be Singing the Psalms as we explore some of the various Psalms of Worship.
