The Story - Pastor Myron Harms - South Pod 7E
The Crossways Sunday Morning Bible Class is presently following a study called The Story. This study explores the story of the Bible and shows how The Story of Scripture is also our story.
Messiah Young Adults - Angee Allen - Chapel - Starts 8.29!
The Messiah Young Adults Class will be starting up this Fall and is a class for all College Age and Young Adult members and friends. Studies will cover exploring the Bible in light of life issues for young adults. This class will be starting up on Sunday, August 29 at 9:30 in the Church Chapel, just off the narthex.
The Apostles' Creed - Pastor Marvin Henschel - S Pod 9E
Pastor Henschel’s Sunday Morning class is studying the Apostles' Creed. We are presently taking a look at the 3rd article which explores who Jesus is our Savior and Redeemer.

Sisters in Christ Bible Class - Wednesdays, 9:30am
All women of Messiah, you are warmly invited to join our weekly class. We are currently studying Perseverance: Praying Through Life’s Challenges, based on the book of Nehemiah. Please contact Kathy if you plan to attend.
Our class has just started working through the video series called THE STORY, which explores God’s Word as the Master Narrative of God’s plan of Salvation for His people through the work of His Son, Jesus. We invite you to join us on Thursday evenings as we journey together through THE STORY.
The weekly breakfast is open to all men and happens every Thursday at 8am at the Scissortail Diner located at 5001 N. Portland. (just south of 50th & Portland).

Collect Those Pull Tabs
As you gather with friends and family remember to remove and collect the pull tabs from your aluminum cans. Place your collected pull tabs in the specially marked jar at the Messiah Care Corner. All pull tabs are recycled and proceeds go toward the Ronald McDonald House, who are most appreciative to receive the gifts.
Messiah Food Pantry is Running Low
Messiah's food pantry cabinets (at office door and narthex door) are running low on food. Non-perishable food items, snack foods and bottled drinks can be placed in the cabinet any time you are visiting the building. Thank you for caring for our neighbors.

Mark Your Calendars & Plan to Attend - Consecration Sunday, November 7 - The Trust Test Annual All Church Agape Feast to Follow Worship
This is the day when we make our pledges of financial support for God’s work at Messiah for the coming year, 2022. In both worship services that day, each member or household will have the opportunity to complete their pledge form and bring it to the altar. In addition to our regular pledges of support for 2022, we are asking members to consider a gift to the Building Fund to help replace all of our original Heat and Air Conditioning Units. To make your reservation for the all congregation lunch celebration (Agape Feast) please call the church office to sign up.
