Messiah Worship Music Channel on YouTube!

We want everyone to feel engaged and included in musical worship at Messiah, so we have started a new YouTube Channel dedicated to the worship music for upcoming services. The channel will feature weekly playlists so anyone who wants to can familiarize themselves with the music ahead of time. You can subscribe to our channel (mlcauburn worship music) or find the weekly playlist near the bottom of our homepage at mlcauburn.org.

Faith Formation Retreat

All are invited to our Faith Formation retreat as we begin to dream the future of forming faith here at Messiah! On Friday, July 22 from 6:30 to 8:30 pm and Saturday, July 23 from 10 am to 3 pm we will gather to do some asset mapping, assessing community needs, and building on Messiah’s strengths to determine how God is calling us to form faith amongst our youth here and now. Childcare is available, and lunch will be served on Saturday, so please RSVP to Pr. Bridget or through the form on Messiah’s website so we have an accurate count. Contact Pr. Bridget if you have any other questions.
Vacation Bible School

Join us for this year’s VBS – The Tree of Healing! On August 1-4 from 5 to 7:30 pm we’ll be gathering to share a meal, stories about God, fun activities, crafts, songs, and more! We’ll learn all about what health means and how God invites us to share in the building of a just world where all can enjoy the gifts of God’s creation. Registration forms can be found in the office, near the sanctuary, and on our website. We’d also love to have more volunteers – let Pr. Bridget know if you’re interested. See you there!
Vacation Bible School for Seniors

Join us Sunday, August 28-Wednesday, August 31 for Vacation Bible School for Seniors. The theme of the week Friendship-In the Bible and In Our Lives! A simple meal will be served at 6:00pm each evening and the class will begin at 6:45pm. Registration forms can be found in the Gathering Space or in the church office. Please contact Pr. Susan if you have questions.
Face Mask 1
Messiah COVID Reminder

As we move forward together during this time, when COVID is still present with us, it is important that all Messiah members and friends look out for one another by practicing some basic, good-health strategies.

Even though masks are no longer mandated, Messiah encourages those who would feel more comfortable being present in the building with one to where one. We are at a point in the pandemic where masking is a matter of personal choice. Messiah wants to support folks in their choice to be in the building with or without a mask.

Of course, good hand washing, inquiring of others if they are comfortable being in close proximity, and staying home if not feeling well are all strategies we can utilize to help keep one another safe. Together, we can keep Messiah a safe place for all to gather together.
