Metallic Plan Options with the QualChoice National Network (QCNN)

Small groups now have the option to add the QCNN network to their Metallic Plan. If a group has less than 10% of their enrolled employees out of state, the group has the option to purchase our base plans with or without access to the QCNN network. Plans with the QCNN access will have a separate plan ID. A group cannot mix and match a QCNN plan with a non-QCNN plan.

If the group has 10-20% of their enrolled employees out of state, only the plans with QCNN are available. 2024 Metallic Plan rates are available in QuicQuote.

We use the Cisco Registered Envelope System, which detects PHI in the body of outgoing email and/or attachment(s) and encrypts the message and attachment(s).

2024 Federal Poverty Level Guidelines Updated

The Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) recently released the 2024 federal poverty guidelines. These guidelines are used to calculate affordability under §4980H (the Employer Mandate) for applicable large employers to comply with the Affordable Care Act (ACA) FPL safe harbor and avoid penalties for providing unaffordable coverage. Typically, the FPL is updated in late January, so calendar year plans generally rely upon the FPL of the previous year. However, plans beginning in February or later can rely upon the current year’s FPL.
