Metco Landscape, Inc. named one of the Top 100 landscape companies in the U.S.!

Summer is in full swing and Metco Landscape, Inc. was ranked 42 on the 2014 Lawn & Landscape Top 100 list, which was published in May and sponsored by Exmark Manufacturing.

"These 100 companies represent some of the best in the entire country, and have achieved a level of growth that

a very small percentage of the industry can claim," said L&L Editor and Associate Publisher Chuck Bowen. "The Top 100 is a very exclusive club, and being named to the list is a real honor. The companies on this year's list are examples of tremendous dedication and hard work."

July Maintenance Tips

Flowers, Ground Covers, Perennials, and Ornamental Grasses

  • Continue to deadhead and weed regularly.
  • Monitor all your plants for early signs of disease or pest infestation.
  • Divide bearded irises.
Lawns
  • Water your lawn as needed always following local watering guidelines and restrictions. It's a good idea to limit watering to high-visibility, high-impact areas.
Bring a little red, white, and blue to your backyard

If the 4th of July BBQ is at your house this year you can easily incorporate festive colors. Add some red, white and blue petunias to your pots or garden, add an American flag or make homemade citronella candles. Get creative this year and bring in the patriotic spirit for our Independence Day!
