BOAT SHOW NEWS August 20, 2026

Greetings!

We hope you are enjoying the beautiful Michigan summer, and are gearing up for the fall Progressive Metro Boat Show that will be here before we know it!

• MBIA Order Forms and payment are Past Due... if you do not have all green lights in Boat Show Manager, please do so ASAP. You will not be allowed to move in without an insurance form on file or if you have an outstanding balance.

• Review the Exhibitor Manual - This important resource is full of details for orders, contractors, rules and regulations and more! Click here to view.

• Move In - Move in will begin on Monday, September 14 at 9 a.m. In-water Slips and Bulk Land Space will move in on Monday and Tuesday. All booths will move in Wednesday and Thursday (before noon - show opens at 1 p.m. on Thursday).

• Help us Promote YOU! Our Social media presence is growing! Send product and service details for your business and features at the show and we'll promote it on the show Facebook account! Email details to awendecker@mbia.org.



• Mums Order - Would you like some beautiful mums to decorate your exhibit? We have an order being delivered to the show, and you can order as many as you like for just $7.50 per plant - and they're a great large size! To order, please contact Mandel Greenhouse at 586-781-2080 by Friday, Sept. 11 and tell them your order will be with the MBIA delivery to the Metro Boat Show. You will pick up your mums outside the Show Office on Wednesday, Sept. 16.

• Rate: $144.00 + tax

• Exhibitor Tickets - MBIA has mailed 10 free tickets to each exhibitor and sent a discount code via email on 8/14 to buy tickets for customers at the discounted price of $7.50. Please reach out to Tim Paul if you have any ticketing questions. TPaul@mbia.org or call 734.261.0123, ext. 1.

• Parking - Parking Attendants at the Metropark will have a list of Exhibiting Companies at their booths. During move in, please have employees give the attendant the Company Name and their name for entry. During the show, Exhibitors are to show their Exhibitor name badge for parking entry.
• There will be a parking area available for empty trailers and storage trailers with logos as you will not be able to park them in the parking lot. Contact Bethany Sly for more information; bsly@mbia.org or 734.261.0123 x2.
