MetroSquash Wins Big!

It was a weekend to remember in Philadelphia for the SEA Team National Championships! Our elementary school team dominated the top division and was crowned champion, bringing home the title in spectacular fashion. The future is bright, and our youngest students made it known that their time is now!

At SEA Team Nationals in Philadelphia, our entire MetroSquash team showcased incredible sportsmanship, effort, and teamwork. While not every group took home the top prize, the memories made and growth on the court will impact our students forever.

Our elementary school team dominated the A division, securing 3-0 victories against StreetSquash (NY) and Steel City Squash (Pittsburgh) before taking on powerhouse CitySquash (NY) in the final. With unwavering confidence and skill, MetroSquash did not drop a single game all weekend, clinching the championship before our captain, Jacoby, even stepped on the court!

Our middle school team faced very tough competition, and despite some last-minute lineup changes, they placed 6th in the B Division.

The high school team put up a strong fight in the B Division Semi-Finals, with a key victory from Joshua R. setting the stage for Joshua T. and Armon to push the team through. Despite their efforts, they narrowly missed advancing and finished 4th after a hard-fought playoff.

When students weren’t on the court competing, they had the opportunity to explore Philadelphia’s rich history with a tour of Independence Hall and the Liberty Bell, making it a weekend filled with both athletic and educational experiences.
