The event paid tribute to four prominent individuals who have made significant contributions to the Latino community:
● José M. Hernández, Engineer and Former NASA Astronaut, received the Dionicio Morales Lifetime Achievement Award for his inspirational journey and contributions to science and space exploration.
● Esai Morales, Actor and Producer, was honored with the Entertainment Aztec Award for his remarkable career in the entertainment industry.
● Dorene Dominguez, CEO and Chairwoman of Vanir Corporation, was awarded the Corporate Aztec Award, recognizing her influential leadership and philanthropic efforts.
● Adrián González, Emmy Award-winning Sports Analyst and Former Los Angeles Dodgers First Baseman, was presented with the Sports Aztec Award for his achievements in sports.
The gala's entertainment was a highlight of the evening, featuring a special performance by Andy Vargas, the renowned lead singer from Santana. Regional Mexican singer Helen Ochoa and other esteemed guests also graced the stage, adding to the celebratory atmosphere.
