August STAR Fund Allocations total $297,000
Williston Economic Developmen t - The Williston City Commission and City Administrator David Tuan have allocated up to $297,000 in STAR Fund incentives during the month of August. The commission approved up to $277,000 for seven projects at its meeting August 10, 2021, while Tuan approved four mini match applications totaling $20,000. Read More

WED reaches 21 in 2021 Goal
Williston Economic Developmen t - Williston Economic Development (WED) has announced it has reached its “21 in 2021” goal. The campaign was launched at the start of 2021 to generate interest in starting, expanding or purchasing a business with help from the Williston STAR Fund. “We all know what happened last year with COVID,” said Williston Economic Development Executive Director, Shawn Wenko. “The economy kind of shut down and it wasn’t a fun year for us in economic development. So, when we came out of the gate in 2021, we decided to have a goal of assisting seven new businesses, seven business expansions and seven quality of life projects funded through the Williston STAR Fund in ’21.” Read More

of Second Location in Williston
Williston Economic Developmen t - Reyes Taqueria has opened a second location in Williston. The Williston Area Chamber of Commerce held a ribbon cutting on Tuesday, August 10 to celebrate Reyes Taqueria's grand opening inside the TrainND Northwest facility located at 415 22nd Ave. N. Reyes Taqueria's original location is 107 8th Ave. W. #8.
