Support NAFTA modernization
On August 16, the U.S., Canada and Mexico will sit down for the first of seven rounds of meetings to negotiate modernization of the North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA). This is a welcome development, but more work is necessary if we are going to protect one of the most successful trade agreements in history, as well as the 14 million American jobs reliant on trade with our NAFTA partners. WTA is asking you to support of the effort to thoughtfully modernize the agreement, led by the U.S. Chamber. To demonstrate your support, please add your organization's name to a letter that will be sent to the President and Congress on the importance of maintaining strong trade relationships with our neighbors.
