Cloquet Public Library Addition & Renovation
The City of Cloquet hired Meyer Group Architecture to preform a Pre-Design for submittal to the Minnesota Department of Administration, a Building Access Survey as prescribed by the Minnesota State Council on Disability, and aid in the completion of the Minnesota Department of Education Library Construction Grant for the Cloquet Public Library Addition & Renovation project. The Cloquet Public Library is in need of additional space based on the population size it serves and the needs of its patrons. A large addition to the existing facility is being proposed along with renovations to the interior.  To meet this growing need in the community, the addition and renovations will include larger new spaces for Teen / Young Adult programming, Children / Youth Services programming, and a large meeting hall. All of these new spaces within the addition and the renovations center around the core values of the Cloquet Public Library.
Bad River Band of Lake Superior Chippewa Transit Building Addition Pre-Design
Bad River Planning engaged Meyer Group Architecture to complete a Pre-design for the Bad River Transit Building Addition. Due to Bad River Transit's need of additional bus storage, a new addition to the existing masonry building was devised to meet that need. A masonry addition with steel joists and a low slope roof, matching the existing building's aesthetics, would house nine additional vehicle bays for transit buses. This would be a dramatic increase from the existing building's three vehicle bays, and allow Bad River Transit to expand their services while properly storing and maintaining their fleet.
