Officials cut the ribbon on New Castle County's Hope Center
County Executive Matt Meyer was joined by federal, state, local and county officials for a ribbon cutting event at The Hope Center on Monday afternoon. The former Sheraton hotel is housing over 200 homeless individuals safely during the COVID-19 pandemic and helping some as they transition to permanent housing solutions. County Executive joins in Youth Environmental Summit
County Executive Meyer joined Senator Stephanie Hansen to discuss youth advocacy with students and educators during the Delaware Youth Environmental Summit on February 24th.  They discussed their careers in government service and ways to get involved in supporting their respective environmental efforts. New Castle County' s NCC heARTed art competition is open for entries. The county-wide art contest and pop up art show brings together New Castle County residents and visitors (including New castle County employees, students, teachers and families) to share what we all love about our community through art. County offering pop-up testing sites next week, including Sunday
New Castle County continues offering regular pop-up testing sites across the county. Any resident can get tested regardless of symptoms and tests are free, quick, easy and painless.
